Governing a 60+ TB Azure SQL Estate

I held operational accountability across applications, Azure SQL, Windows Server/IIS, identity, deployments, incident recovery and handover for an enterprise asset-management application delivered to more than 100 client organisations.

I help organisations make cloud and SaaS operations more predictable. I achieve this not only by resolving incidents, but by putting the right structure, visibility, ownership and controls, in place before technical issues become business disruption.

I built and operated a governance dashboard that gave IT leadership clearer visibility of cost, capacity, risk and operational health. This enabled earlier intervention, helped identify multiple capacity risks before service impact, recovered approximately 1 TB of operational headroom, and surfaced a five-figure annual cost-optimisation opportunity.
